Tony is a former England and British & Irish Lions rugby international who translated the high-performance mindset of elite sport into a second career as a long-haul airline captain, leading multi-disciplinary crews at 40,000 feet.
Today he is Co-Founder and Performance Lead at Believe Solutions, the “social-value disruptor” helping businesses and public bodies turn ESG and procurement duties into measurable, community-driven impact through its High-Performance Social Value framework.
Describing himself as a “Chief Care Enforcer”, Tony draws on 30 years of lived experience in professional sport, aviation safety culture and cross-sector collaboration to show organisations how belief, data and disciplined delivery unlock social value that lasts. He currently advises boards, procurement leaders and VCSE partners across the North of England, and speaks nationally on purpose-led performance, inclusive growth and the power of collective action.

London Hub Online Networking Event

Join the London ICRS Hub for a Friday morning virtual coffee and networking session.
Whether you are an experienced professional or new to the area, we can all learn more from each other about how to best deliver corporate responsibility and sustainability in our companies.
Attendees will be randomly split into break-out rooms of up to four people, creating an open and supportive space for CRS professionals with a connection to London, to meet one another, ask questions and discuss good practice on topics such as securing leadership buy-in, keeping up with emerging trends, and navigating the plethora of reporting frameworks.
